Macarthur Disability Services (MDS) is an approved provider of Day Programs for people with a disability, dual diagnosis or mental illness.

 

The MDS Day Programs assist service participants in the following areas:

Community Access, Participation and Integration

  • Participation in the community and its activities

Day programs are centre based with community access. MDS offers activities in small groups with other people. You will also be involved in activities within your local community.

 

MDS Day Programs operate 48 weeks per year, and are open from 9am-3pm.

 

MDS charges $5 daily attendance fee.

 

Life Choices and Active Ageing Programs

 

Macarthur Disability Services (MDS) is an approved provider of the Life Choices and Active Ageing Day Programs for people with a disability.

 

Life Choices is a day program for people with a disability aged 25-54. Programs are Centre Based with Community Access or Individual Community Based.

 

The program assists people with a disability, dual diagnosis or mental illness in areas such as skills development, community access, participation and integration, and employability and living skills.

 

Active Ageing is a Day Program for people with a disability aged 55-64 (and people with early onset ageing). Programs are Centre Based with Community Access or Individual Community Based.

 

MDS provide flexible service options that are age appropriate. Activities are provided individually or in small groups with other people.

 

The program operates 18 hours per week from 9am-3pm, 48 weeks service per year

Life Choices and Active Ageing Programs provide 18 hours of service per week. Days are flexible and are your choice. Programs operate 48 weeks per year and open from 9am-3pm. MDS does not provide transport to and from program, but will assist you with referrals to transport providers.

 

MDS Charges a $5 daily attendance fee.
